The Department of Ecology is developing postconsumer recycled content (PCRC) rule language for RCW 70A.245/WAC173-925. Language is drafted based on research and stakeholder feedback, and was separated into four parts (A-D). We are currently accepting comments on the "Version 9 Draft - 10-10," which contains the complete rule draft, parts A - D. All input must be submitted by November 1, 2022. After the draft language is complete, it will undergo economic analysis. The final draft will be published in the state register in early spring, 2023, and we will announce a 60-day public comment and hearing period.
