Ecology invites you to comment on the draft Agreed Order and draft Public Participation Plan on plans to cleanup contamination at Buse Timber and Sales, located at 3812 28th Place NE, Everett, Washington.
The Buse Timer and Sales site is approximately 60 acres with a sawmill facility, log storage, and 11 buildings used for storage and maintenance. Samples taken at the site showed that chemicals are in the soil and groundwater.
Ecology has developed a draft Public Participation Plan that outlines how you and your neighbors can learn about the cleanup at this site and provide your input. Ecology will notify the public of upcoming opportunities to get involved and how comments will be used for cleanup decisions.
